On September 26th, the school board meeting will be held at the UMW, Dahlgren Campus to celebrate the production of "Road to Desegregation".   This video was commissioned by the Ralph Bunche Alumni Association and is brought to you through a partnership between the Alumni Association and King George County Schools.  The video documents the historical significance of the opening of Ralph Bunche High School in King George County.

The Ralph Bunche Alumni Association was also responsible for supporting a collaborative project with University of Mary Washington students to have vinyl panels made showing the "Road to Desegregation"  including the lawsuit brought on by county residents leading up to a separate school being opened in 1949.

A public screening of the video will take place at 5:30.    Lite refreshments will be available and everyone is welcome to attend. The school board meeting will take place at 6:30 pm.
