A school must have fair and consistent discipline for inappropriate behavior in the learning environment. 6. Students learn best in an emotionally and physically safe and comfortable environment. 7. Students must realize the importance of good attendance, promptness, self-discipline, and responsibility, and their relationship to consistent learning. 8. Teachers, administrators, parent/guardian, and the community share the responsibility for advancing the school's mission. 9.
