Born in King George County,
James Madison insisted that
“learned institutions ought to be favorite objects with every free
people.” President Madison’s sentiments remain a
cornerstone of the culture and proud tradition of our schools and the greater
community of King George County.
It is my
pleasure to welcome you to our school district – a place where good people care
about the educational setting and opportunities afforded children.
As Superintendent, I am only one of
560 educators and support staff members committed to continuously improving the
way we go about meeting and exceeding the needs of our students and families.
We are blessed to have talented
students from caring families, thoughtful and responsible board leadership, and
many community-based organizations supporting the mission of our school system.
With everyone doing their part, we can ensure that our schools
remain magical places with walls that contain a bright future inside.
