For the 2022-2023 school year, students with symptoms of illness or who have tested positive for COVID can return to school on Day 6 if symptoms have improved and they have not had a fever, diarrhea, or vomiting for at least 24 hours.
It is important to notify your child's school nurse for all symptoms of illness and positive COVID tests, as there are circumstances that may affect your child's date of return.
Students who have been exposed to COVID may continue reporting to school as long as they are not experiencing any symptoms.
KGCS is not conducting any contact tracing or notifications to families regarding exposure to COVID in the school setting.
