King George County Schools offers a full time virtual program for students in grades 6-12. The program is offered through a partnership with Virtual Virginia. 

Homeschool or private school students who would like to participate in this free virtual learning program need to first enroll in King George County Schools. 

King George Virtual Academy for the 2026 Spring Semester is now open and closes on October 31, 2025. Students at KGHS who are not currently enrolled in the fall semester should contact their school counselor soon to schedule an appointment.

Students in grades 9-12 who reside in King George but are not currently enrolled in King George County Schools who want to attend the Virtual Academy must complete the online registration first.  Please go to the KGCS website and click on “New Student Registration”.

Students who are currently enrolled in the fall semester with King George Virtual Academy will automatically be enrolled in the spring semester.
