School Board

The King George County School Board is proud to serve our community by supporting and shaping the educational experiences of all students. The Board is composed of five dedicated members, each elected to represent one of the county’s five magisterial districts for a four-year term.

Guided by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the regulations of the Virginia Board of Education, the School Board’s responsibilities include developing and maintaining policies that ensure the effective operation of our schools. The Board sets goals that reflect the priorities of our community and provides direction for educational and financial decisions that support student success.
