  • Regional College Fair, Oct. 19 The Fredericksburg Regional College Fair will be held on Wednesday, October 19 at Spotsylvania Towne Center. Once again the fair will be "automated". This means that students can pre-register for the fair on-line, print out a barcode which they can have scanned at each college's table so that their information is automatically sent to the college. Doing this will give them more time to actually speak to the admissions reps at the fair, They will only have to complete their demographic information one time, instead of at every table they visit. To register online, go to http://gotocollegefairs.com

Spotlight: Seeing Abilities

October is recognized as “Disabilities Awareness Month.” Our KGCS spotlight video, “Seeing Abilities,” features Justin, a wonderful 17 year old high school student with Down’s Syndrome.
With the encouragement of his family, fellow students and teachers, Justin has faced the challenge of relocating and building new friendships. His interests in Star Wars, superheros, art, track, swimming, high fives, inspire us to “Just be Nice”. We honor Justin, his family and all who challenge us to see people for their abilities
